Bishop Sullivan Center

Bishop Sullivan Center was created in 1972 under the name of Cooperative Social Services. The Center now operates two food pantries, a soup kitchen, job placement services, after-school tutoring for children, a clothes closet, poverty education programs and financial emergency assistance. Bishop Sullivan Center is the largest single site provider of emergency assistance in the Kansas City area, and offers its clients hot meals, air-conditioners, food for the hungry, basic necessities for needy families, job placement, elderly care, tutoring, and clothing.
